Cable Street is where my father grew up as well as the site of the most popular anti-fascist victory to have taken place on British soil. I’ve been filming and photographing the happenings in Cable Street since 2011, taking my father back to his roots for the first time in 50 years, and following the anniversary marches and celebrations of the Battle of Cable Street. This is my collection of films, audio and pictures that tell the stories – our stories – of Cable Street.
